Spring has sprung into Summer
From spring’s fresh beginnings to summer’s sun-soaked momentum, we’ve packed the last three months with moments worth remembering. Grab a cold drink, kick back, and catch up on everything you may have missed, we’ve got your highlights right here.
We have been busy, there is much to share—let’s start with Pride, because it reminds us why we do this. MELD exists to celebrate and center identities that often live at the edge, and Pride calls us to be louder, braver, and more visible in that purpose. Like the metals in the MELD logo—distinct yet strengthened through the act of coming together—we honor the diversity of our practices and the power of unity. By sharing who we are, we don’t just coexist, we transform.
PRIDE at MELD Community Center
In June, we celebrated Pride Month with a banger party at the Spring build of MCC.
Love deserves to be celebrated in all its forms—and what better way than with avatars from across the globe dancing under one virtual sky? Whether you came to celebrate, support, or simply move to the music, you were part of something unforgettable. We see you, and we thank you.

SL22B
As Pride month came to a close, the celebrations didn’t stop—because June also marked the start of Second Life’s 22nd birthday! We’ve come a long way since bling shoes, flexi hair, and prim skirts (and if you’re still clinging to those, Heather gently suggests it’s time to upgrade).
This year’s theme, Myths and Legends, honors the stories we shape in-world. Across 19 regions, with over 250 unique exhibits—including the breathtaking FCC installation, built by our very own NallaXea "She Who Will Not Bow" inspired by Lilith, the first woman.
“I am Lilith, the first woman who refused to bow. I will not lie beneath you. To be Lilith is to be untamed.”

MELD 2025: Convention Planning in Full Swing!
We’re deep into MELD planning season, and the energy is rising across all committees. Fundraisers are in motion, with several already completed—and we’re hopeful there is more to come. Sponsorship and exposure options are being shared widely. Please help spread the word and encourage venues to get involved, whether as MELD Allies, Roadshow hosts, Vendors or Performers.
Social Committee has moved from brainstorming into the refinement phase, and is now sorting through over 60 applications from performers, facilitators, and kink-enthusiasts. Education Committee is focused on helping presenters craft strong, intentional events. Both teams will be conveying specific requirements to our Build team, who is bringing the 2025 theme—Moon Goddess Magic—to life, and vendor booth demos are ready now. We’ve already surpassed last year’s booth reservations, and this year’s Shopping Event is shaping up to be bigger and more magical than ever.

Thanks to the generous support from you and our community, we’ll have both a full sim and a homestead to shape this experience… Build Committee gonna go wild!
Community Impact via MELD Fundraising
We’re learning, together, about our impact—not with grand gestures, but with individual actions rooted in community. Our recent fundraising events are proof: when you move with purpose, others follow, and the impact grows.
A Vie et Amor Stole Our Hearts in May
Submissives as living art, scenes of ritual and play, delicious mingling and more. A Vie et Amor’s Gala Fundraiser for The MELD was an enormous success. While A Vie et Amor is typically a hub of non-stop gaming energy, May 14th marked something truly special; a coming together of multiple communities to bring a shared vision to life.

We’d like to give a heartfelt thank you to A Vie et Amor’s owner Khelan Kalinakov for making this an event to remember. Her social reach and utter dedication to the community showed in the amount of volunteers and allies that gathered together.

Masquerade Gala at The Pampered Mistress
On the twenty-second of June we had our third MELD fundraiser of the year. Huge thanks to MELD Diamond Sponsor The Pampered Mistress, Scarlett and Tempest for opening their SIM in support of MELD 2025! Your generosity and commitment to the community make a real difference, and we’re so grateful for your support in helping bring this vision to life!
We stepped into the charm and shadow of the French Quarter during a night of masked mystery, sensual jazz spun by the wondrous DJ Talya and Southern decadence.

The sultry energy of New Orleans was felt throughout the night and community contributions help make MELD 2025 possible!
24 Greenwich Street
On the third of July, 24 Greenwich hosted an ALL-DAY fundraising event for The MELD. We danced the hours away with fabulous music and are immensely grateful to gatita for her generosity, unwavering support and her hard-work in making 24 Greenwich the fantastic venue that it is. Due to their generosity, 24 Greenwich's fundraiser skyrocketed them into MELD DIAMOND SPONSOR stratosphere!

Thank you, gatita & 24 Greenwich Street.

Special shoutout to Rex 🐾 for the amazing photography. If you want to see all of the pictures, or wish to engage with the community on a larger scale, please join us here for all the extras on our MCC discord server.
Thank You to Our MELD Allies
We’re deeply grateful to the venues and creators who’ve stepped forward as MELD Allies—choosing to amplify the awareness of the convention by sharing it with their communities. Our Allies are helping to build momentum, spark curiosity, and create space for something bigger. We’re proud to honor and recognize them here.

The MELD Roadshows Return!

We’re hitting the road again this summer with a fresh round of pre-convention femdom mythbusting. These paneled conversations bring Dominant women center stage to shatter stereotypes, share truths, and stir real dialogue. Don’t miss the chance to catch us at venues across the grid—make sure you're in the FCC group for dates, locations, and the latest updates!
Introducing MELD Encore
The MELD Femdom Convention may technically wrap after 10 powerful days— but this year, the energy doesn’t stop there. Thanks to the overwhelming response to our programming call, we’re keeping the momentum going with MELD Encore: a full week of bonus events, completely free and open to all Sep 29— Oct 5.

Hosted at the MELD Community Center, Encore gives us space to highlight even more voices, ideas, and connections. Think of it as the afterparty with purpose— where the same Femdom-focused values, community spirit, and creativity continue to thrive, just in a more casual setting. We’ll feature workshops, discussions, and community hangouts designed to deepen the conversations started during the convention.
Whether you missed the main event or just want more, MELD Encore invites you to keep showing up, keep learning, and keep building the Femdom community we all deserve.
