Happy New Year to our community members and Affiliates! Let’s jump right into what’s coming up in the first quarter for FCC.

Introducing FETISH FANTASY

We are excited to unveil another major event collaboration with our Affiliates!

Join us for A Night of Kinky Revelry at Fetish Fantasy!

Fetish Fantasy is a NEW quarterly fundraising event– a hands-on, interactive kinky event in partnership with our FCC Affiliates. Hosting Affiliates have chosen a theme for a night of kinky play and we’re all invited. Be sure to bring your L’s and your kinky sense of adventure!

Get to know this year’s hosts by paying them a visit:

Each Affiliate who has volunteered to host has graciously agreed to donate a portion of their proceeds to FCC in order to benefit projects such as The MELD. The generosity of our Affiliates is unmatched!

FCC is not-for-profit. Staff and contributors are volunteers. All donations are used to cover the continuation of annual events and investment in the future of the Femdom lifestyle in SL. Read more about FCC's policies here.

Join the Freak Show

Oubliette is hosting the VERY FIRST Fetish Fantasy fundraising event. FCC Admins have gotten a sneak peak of the Freak Show and we can say with full confidence that this event will be for the sex-positive perverts in the crowd. Way to set the bar, Oubliette!

Oubliette’s FreakShow

Thursday, February 8th

Oubliette always has room for one more FREAK. If you are interested in being part of the show, there is plenty of flexibility in what roles are available– from the subdued to the outrageous.

All donations are used to cover our running costs, with any additional funds being channeled into community projects, including The MELD, the annual FCC event. Funds are held in the FCC bot, Bruce FCC Services (FCCServices)’. Read more about FCC's policies here.

Conclusion

At FCC, we are excited to continue our mission in 2024 of inclusion and collaboration in Femdom. We can barely contain the joy we receive when community members and Affiliates come together to support this mission. With each new opportunity, you all continue to step up to the plate. We salute you! Cheers to 2024!

FCC Quarterly Community Newsletter

Introduction

Fall begins as FCC continues its vision of sharing information and fostering collaboration within the community. Read about our exciting third quarter below!

The MELD 2023

Second Life’s first-ever weekend-long FemDom convention was well-received by the community!

The MELD saw 170 unique visitors attend the event for 30min or more. It filled our kinky hearts with joy to see so many different styles, expressions, and practitioners of BDSM gathered in one place to celebrate FemDom. It was such a pleasure to host an event where new friendships were forged and old friendships were strengthened. FCC’s mission continues as we strive to build bridges instead of islands within the community. This is only the beginning.

The MELD is brought to you by FCC & its community volunteers. Without the generous support of time, energy and donations this event would not be possible. FCC is deeply grateful for our community's treasure-trove of skills and talent that helped bring this event to life; for the community, by the community.

A Sight to See

The Central Park-themed event took place September 22-24. FCC Affiliates and community volunteers hosted social and educational events including games, discussions, workshops and performances.

See more pictures of the event on FCC's Flickr.

We hear you!

FCC appreciates everyone who has taken the time to provide feedback about their experience at The MELD. It has been overwhelmingly supportive– including the feedback that alerted us to areas where we can improve. We have learned so much from the community while hosting this event in its first year. Our goal is to continue to refine The MELD and make it an event where YOU feel represented.

If you haven’t completed our ANONYMOUS 6-question survey, there is still time to give us your insight!

Our Team Just Got Stronger

It is with great pleasure that we welcome our newest FCC Administrator and Affiliate Liaison, JaMee Sassafras! A woman who requires no introduction, JaMee has been a stalwart member of the BDSM community in SL for many years. She is the owner of the FCC-affiliated venue BDSM and D/s Serenity Center where she facilitates weekly discussions promoting wellness in BDSM. This year, JaMee was an integral part of The MELD– planning the event with us from start to finish before going on to host FIVE events during the celebration after signing on as the Platinum Sponsor! JaMee’s commitment to the community is inspirational. FCC is honored to have her join us. Welcome, JaMee! We can’t wait to see what else we create together.

Conclusion

This season we witnessed our community embrace a model of inclusion and collaboration at The MELD. At FCC, we are dedicated to continued growth in our service to the community. As part of this journey, we strive to uphold our vision to provide the Femdom Community a group to advertise social and educational events, and resources– to grow and support members in their lifestyle journey– building up individuals, relationships, the community and its venues.

As we close out this quarter, we wish to offer our deepest gratitude for your continued support. Your participation is vital in helping us provide this resource and nurture the Femdom community. To our affiliates, members, and volunteers: We thank you!

FCC Quarterly Community Newsletter

Introduction

Welcome to the July Edition of the FCC Community Newsletter. FCC has several exciting milestones to update the community on...

The FCC HUD

What-the-HUD??!!

On May 15th, 2023 FCC launched its first tool to the community, the FCC HUD. The HUD in many ways is a digitized format of one of FCC’s original feature benefits, the FCC Newsletter. The FCC Newsletter was a notecard circulated quarterly featuring a compilation of all affiliated venues and their contact information including notecards, social & educational events, and landmarks. This provided a resource for anyone in our community to have on-hand and circulate at-will.

In addition to Newsletter curation & distribution, FCC’s inworld Kiosk provides advertising for each affiliated venue, customized branded boards that deliver similar information specific to each venue, when clicked by SecondLife residents.

The FCC Kiosk–in Your Pocket!

With the HUD, residents now have the FCC Kiosk and list of affiliated venues in their pockets. Community members no longer require the Newsletter notecard and instead access up-to-date information on all FCC affiliated venues and stores and can teleport directly to the venues, stores and events. The HUD also provides quick and easy access to the events in the FCC Community calendar as well as other FCC resources for affiliates and members. HUD updates occur weekly, so information is fresh and up-to-date. In a future release, affiliates will be able to manage and update information themselves via a web browser.

FCC Newsletter Format Significantly Changes

The new FCC Newsletter format is now completely digital and just as easy to circulate as before, now with a weblink. Even better is simply passing the HUD to residents interested in exploring the Femdom lifestyle in SecondLife. Residents can access the Newsletter, browse the Affiliate Library to visit those locations, review the FCC Community Calendar of Events and teleport directly to venues, events & shopping.

New HUD Features!

This month, significant improvements have been achieved with the HUD.

One significant change you’ll notice immediately is the HUD now ships in a box that requires unpacking. Simply add the object to your avatar or rezz to the ground and the object will automatically prompt you to unpack. Delete the shipping box afterward.

Once the package is unpacked, locate the FCC HUD Package vX.X.X folder in your inventory. The folder has three objects: a Help Notecard, a Smartphone HUD object and an optional Smartphone hand-held object.

  • Smartphone HUD - this object attaches like a normal HUD. It is REQUIRED to use the FCC HUD.

  • Smartphone hand-held - this object is now optional. Wearing the item animates your avatar and when the on-screen HUD is minimized, hides the hand-held object. After maximizing the on-screen HUD, the hand-held device reappears & animates your avatar. The hand-held object is not required to be worn/attached to operate the on-screen HUD.

Also of note are these new improvements & features:

  • optimizing the scripting for 60% improvement in memory function,

  • the addition of World Map button for each affiliate,

  • a marketplace link (if your venue is a store),

  • a lock feature to prevent the HUD from being removed and

  • affiliates may now provide SOCIAL MEDIA information for display in the HUD. To include your venue's social media details (discord, blogs, facebook, flickr, vimeo/youtube, etc.), contact Ashe (astarteh.mysterious) inworld, via Discord @devi_ashe (DeviThyme#9193), or any other FCC Admin (contact information below).

Special mention of THANKS goes out to Nivx, a LSL beast and FCC’s most recent developer/programmer volunteer, for contributing his time and talent to optimize and improve the community HUD.

Happy 20th Birthday SecondLife!

This month FCC is participating in the annual Second Life Birthday party event from June 22 - July 11, 2023. At our exhibit on SLB Irresistible, learn about Femdom including common myths and FAQs. Join FCC on July 8th, for our weekly Open House event from 3:30-4:30 pm SLT at our SL20B Exhibit.

Several Affiliates have exhibits on SLB Euphoric! Be sure to swing by and check them out!

Don't forget to pick up your FREE gift from FCC created especially for the occasion!

Meld News

Planning for The MELD this coming September continues. This is a first-ever event of its kind, a weekend-long FemDom convention in SecondLife. Four planning committees are working behind the scenes to create an event designed to showcase the Femdom lifestyle in SecondLife, liaising specifically with our network of affiliates and community members.

If you would like to HOST or PERFORM at this event, we are actively booking events, discussions, kink demonstrations, art exhibits and more into the Meld Event calendar.

For more information, click FCC > The Meld button on the HUD, visit the Kiosk inworld or contact a member of FCC staff.
